The programs within Achieve Penn State are designed to meet students where they are and to remove barriers students may face along the path to a Penn State degree, so that students can succeed academically, graduate on time, and reduce their educational debt.

Students enrolled at specific Pennsylvania high schools serving low-income areas or those enrolled in the federal free lunch program, regardless of high school, can earn micro-scholarships toward their Penn State education by meeting goals that will lay a strong foundation for their future studies.

PaSSS provides an on-ramp to college for students at Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses. In the summer before their first semester students learn about Penn State resources, establish connections, and earn credits that can help them graduate on time.

The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center Mentoring Program pairs undergraduates seeking support in financial literacy and life skills with experienced mentors who are affiliated with the University as alumni, faculty, or staff.
